Senior Automation QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) team in Krakow. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated test solutions for backend APIs, UI flows, and end‑to‑end document processing scenarios within an AI‑assisted KYC onboarding platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated tests for APIs, UI components and full IDP document processing flows.
• Extend and improve test automation frameworks emphasizing scalability, maintainability and clear reporting.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and provide rapid feedback to development teams.
• Analyze test failures, investigate defects and collaborate with developers to resolve root causes.
• Contribute to test strategy, quality gates and continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on test automation experience in production environments.
• Strong programming skills in Java and solid understanding of QA engineering fundamentals.
• Experience working in agile delivery models and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
