Senior Android Developer

About the role

The Codest is looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join its Mobile Platform team in Kraków. You will help build new mobile applications and enhance existing ones, using modern Kotlin technologies and a strong focus on security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Android applications in Kotlin using Jetpack Compose.
• Design and implement solutions based on MVP, MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns.
• Integrate apps with backend services via Retrofit.
• Manage dependencies with Koin, Dagger or Hilt.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Android framework, Coroutines, Room and lifecycle components.
• Experience with modular app architecture and dependency management.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining CI/CD processes.
• Understanding of mobile security best practices (encrypted storage, SSL pinning, authentication).
• Ability to troubleshoot production incidents and work in a cross‑functional team.
