R Developer with Bio Background

About the role

Appsilon is looking for an experienced R Developer with a strong bioinformatics background to join its remote team. You will work on data‑driven applications that support drug discovery, clinical trials, and pharmacovigilance across Europe and LATAM.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain statistical programs in R for data manipulation, visualization, and TLF generation.
• Implement CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM, SEND) and ensure compliance with GxP validation principles.
• Collaborate with scientists and clinical researchers to gather requirements and manage backlogs.
• Build and deploy web applications using R/Shiny and create reproducible pipelines with Nextflow.
• Maintain version control using Git and contribute to R package development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, data science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Valid passport (for non‑Polish candidates) or ID (for Polish candidates) and residence in EMEA or LATAM.
• Experience with medical data review, pharmacovigilance, and the end‑to‑end drug development lifecycle.
