QA Engineer – Oracle Utilities (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our U.S. client’s team, focusing on Oracle‑based applications for the energy and utilities sector. The role is fully remote and involves ensuring high‑quality delivery of customer information systems and related solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression and user‑acceptance testing for Oracle Utilities applications.
• Review business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Validate application behavior, business processes and system changes across enterprise environments.
• Identify, document, track and support analysis of defects, ensuring visibility and timely resolution.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, developers and support teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Support testing activities for deployments, enhancements, fixes and production changes.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and verification of issue resolutions.
• Maintain quality standards across releases and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Test Engineer or Functional Tester in Oracle‑based environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Utilities applications.
• Solid knowledge of functional testing for enterprise applications.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios and maintaining test documentation.
