Product Owner

About the role

We are building finance and reimbursement capabilities into our SaaS platform and need a Product Owner to lead this high‑complexity domain. You will define the product direction, work directly with clinics to understand real billing processes, and translate them into a clear backlog for engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the finance and reimbursement backlog based on real impact.
• Translate reimbursement rules and payer requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Engage directly with clinics to gather insights on billing workflows, workarounds and pain points.
• Align multiple squads across the finance domain, ensuring steady progress without bottlenecks.
• Make daily trade‑offs between compliance and speed, and between market‑specific depth and scalable solutions.
• Partner with Design to create intuitive billing workflows despite complex logic.
• Validate concepts early with clinics and domain experts, eliminating unviable ideas during discovery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product ownership or product management experience, preferably in billing, invoicing, claims or reimbursement.
• Proven ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria without needing follow‑up clarification.
• Strong comfort with regulatory details and ability to turn reimbursement policies into product requirements.
• Excellent prioritisation skills in fast‑moving environments.
• Experience managing conflicting stakeholder opinions and reaching consensus decisions.
• Ability to present functionality by explaining the “why” behind features.
• Proficient written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
