Payroll Specialist (Dutch-speaking)

About the role

Arrow is hiring a Payroll Specialist in Gdansk, Poland, to join its Payroll Team. The specialist is the first point of contact for HR and payroll questions, helping employees with general queries and managers with employee lifecycle administration. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Answer questions on regulatory and complex administrative HR procedures through multiple channels, and answer basic HR policy questions for managers and employees in the Netherlands and Belgium, escalating as appropriate
• Maintain the payroll audit database and monitor and maintain data analysis between payroll and HR
• Reconcile and process payroll information from external sources such as relocation adjustments, bonuses, stock options and time accruals
• Support HR processes such as onboarding, contract changes, extensions and terminations
• Create regular reports for stakeholders and propose process improvements focused on standardisation
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, support internal and external audits, and keep documents and data accurate
• Support HR projects such as system upgrades, procedure writing and review, and alignment with other teams

Required profile

• Hands-on, energetic and analytical approach, with flexibility, proactivity, focus on quality and good planning and organisation
• Experience with end-to-end Dutch payroll processes
• Knowledge of Dutch labour law
• Solid knowledge of HR administrative procedures
• Fluent Dutch is an asset; English at least B1 level

Required skills

• Excel, including lookup formulas and pivot tables
• Nice to have: experience with AFAS Profit and Workday
