Logistics Sourcing Analyst – Trade Compliance

About the role

As a Logistics Sourcing Analyst – Trade Compliance & Customs Clearance you will support sourcing activities for customs clearance, trade compliance services and related logistics functions, collaborating with global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support sourcing events (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) for customs brokers, freight forwarders and trade service providers.
• Maintain sourcing documentation, supplier records, rate files and audit‑support materials.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure required documentation and operational follow‑up.
• Track supplier performance against service, compliance, cost and responsiveness metrics.
• Analyze customs brokerage spend, identify cost‑optimization and process‑improvement opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments and supplier capabilities.
• Assist with contract management, SLA tracking and renewal timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, International Trade or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in logistics sourcing, trade compliance support or customs brokerage.
• Proven experience with RFx processes, supplier evaluation and rate management.
• Strong analytical, reporting and data consolidation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Experience with sourcing platforms and procurement systems.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
• Knowledge of customs clearance processes, import/export documentation and trade compliance requirements.
