Junior R&D Project Manager

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY POLAND is looking for a Junior R&D Project Manager in Lodz. You will lead cross-functional R&D projects that shape the future of energy technology, working with experts around the world and helping bring innovative solutions to life. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex, multi-location R&D projects
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners
• Drive project performance across cost, schedule and quality
• Ensure internal customer satisfaction and value creation
• Monitor risks, changes and opportunities proactively
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and management
• Apply best practices in project management

Required profile

• Master's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field
• 2 years of experience in R&D or technical project management in the energy sector or a similar industrial environment
• Familiarity with transformers and product development is a plus
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and energy-sector technologies
• Fluency in English is required
• Comfortable working in international, cross-cultural teams

Required skills

• Ability to analyse project data, identify trends and develop data-driven solutions
• Project management tools and familiarity with the gate model
• PM certification preferable (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM)
