ITP Risk Trainee – Two-Year Global Traineeship

About the role

ING offers a two-year International Talent Programme (ITP) on the Risk track, open to candidates based in Warsaw or Katowice. The programme lets you explore financial risk, operational risk and credit risk, build models, analyse data or design risk system architecture. It consists of three rotations across different teams and projects, with the possibility of an international rotation, and leads to a permanent role afterwards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete three rotations across different teams and projects
• Take ownership of your development by using your network and initiative to arrange further rotations after the first one
• Take part in Global Learning Experiences in Amsterdam covering ING's strategy, banking fundamentals and skills such as communication, stakeholder management and growth mindset

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Law or a related field
• Fluent English and Polish
• Up to 2 years of professional experience through internships, placements or early-career roles in risk, analytics or financial services
• Passion for finance and technology, and belief that data is a competitive advantage
• Experience in student organisations, academic societies, volunteering or extracurricular activities
