IT Network Administrator

About the role

The IT Network Administrator oversees and manages the company's IT network environment, including hardware and software, and handles incident and change management as well as employee on- and off-boarding support. The role is based in Krakow and covers the IT network used in the Logistics business.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the network available and running well, carrying out repairs together with local teams
• Configure, change and update network and firewall devices, policies and rules
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and monitor network performance and security compliance
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and changes, and schedule downtime for maintenance, patching and upgrades
• Manage secure configurations for networks, firewalls, hardware, systems and mobile devices, and recommend network security improvements
• Support IT aspects of employee on- and off-boarding, follow up ticket requests and escalate when needed
• Manage logistics for IT equipment and identify suitable technologies, equipment and software for building networks

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• Fluent English, written and spoken, with excellent communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team and under tight deadlines

Required skills

• OSI model and network protocols: OSPF, RSVP/LDP, TCP/IP, RIP, VLANs, port security
• Routing, switching, firewalling and switch/router and firewall management
• AD, DNS, ADFS, DHCP, NPS, CA
• Preferred: Atlassian Jira Service Management, virtualization, Windows Server, ITIL and other IT certificates
