Founding Engineer (Typescript & Next.js)

About the role

We are a pre‑seed startup in Warsaw building a personal AI agent that handles everyday tasks for real users. As the next Founding Engineer you will create the core product and the infrastructure that powers it, shaping the architecture, AI capabilities and user experience from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Build the end‑to‑end product, including agentic AI features, backend services and user‑facing interfaces.
• Design, ship and operate production‑grade AI agents with a focus on reliability, evaluation and cost control.
• Define and maintain observability for agentic workflows, creating metrics that detect regressions before users notice.
• Make architecture and system‑design decisions with minimal guidance and own the outcomes.
• Iterate quickly in production with real users, fixing breakages and improving the experience.

Required profile

• Delivered AI agents to a real production environment at scale.
• Launched a B2C product built around AI agents to a meaningful user base.
• Developed concrete, battle‑tested strategies for agent observability, evaluation and cost management.
• Early‑stage engineering experience at a high‑growth startup.
• Fluent in Polish and able to work onsite in Warsaw with existing work authorization.
