Finance Managed Services Consultant – Full Accounting & Consolidation

About the role

PwC Poland's Enterprise Managed Services (EMS) is growing as part of its Managed Services Operations and is looking for a Finance Managed Services Consultant in Krakow. The consultant works in project teams to review and improve finance processes, operating models and organisational effectiveness, and supports domestic and international clients with accounting, reporting, tax, financial planning and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements and operational data through interviews, workshops and document reviews
• Prepare process maps, gap analyses, business requirements, project plans, status reports and presentations
• Support the design and implementation of solutions in Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, FP&A and broader finance operations
• Take part in process assessments, workshops, testing, transition and post-implementation stabilisation
• Track actions, risks, issues, dependencies and milestones and coordinate project activities
• Collaborate with client teams, subject matter experts and technology specialists, and help identify opportunities for standardisation, automation and stronger controls
• Prepare recommendations and implementation roadmaps, maintain high-quality project documentation and support business development and proposals
• Support recruitment, onboarding and mentoring of junior colleagues, and share insights on follow-on opportunities

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, shared services, business consulting, project delivery or a related field
• Practical knowledge of at least one finance process area such as Record-to-Report, Consolidation or FP&A
• Experience in finance transformation, process improvement, system implementation, SSC/GBS development or operational change
• Clear written and verbal communication, good project coordination and teamwork with international stakeholders
• Professional proficiency in English; commercial awareness and interest in client development

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Nice to have: ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics, process mapping, UAT, PMO or change management, automation, process mining or data visualisation tools
• Nice to have: experience in a consulting firm, SSC, GBS, BPO or finance transformation environment, and relevant education or qualifications
