EU VAT Compliance Specialist

About the role

Ravago is looking for an EU VAT Compliance Specialist to ensure that VAT is handled correctly and on time across Ravago Group companies. The role combines tax and accounting knowledge with a good understanding of the business, acting as a true business partner. It is hands-on, covering the EU market, and requires confident communication in English and Polish. The position is based in the Warsaw area, with an expectation to work from the office three days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage day-to-day indirect tax compliance (VAT returns, Intrastat, SAF-T) and ensure timely filing
• Support and maintain VAT reporting tools, including their rollout across Europe
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on VAT compliance matters
• Monitor VAT positions of European entities (payments, refunds)
• Cooperate closely with local finance teams on new VAT requirements
• Support internal and external VAT audits

Required profile

• Experience in VAT compliance, tax or accounting
• Understanding of EU VAT regulations and processes
• Comfortable working in an international environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• English and Polish

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems and/or VAT reporting tools
