Accountant / Admin Assistant to the Head of Finance & Controlling

About the role

Angst+Pfister, a manufacturer and supplier of technical components, is looking for an Accountant / Admin Assistant to support the Head of Finance & Controlling in Bielsko-Biala. The role covers daily accounting, accounts receivable and general administration, within a team of around 14 people.

Key responsibilities

• Post all day-to-day accounting transactions
• Manage accounts receivable and dunning
• Assist with monthly and annual financial statements under local GAAP
• Maintain master data in financial and cost accounting
• Handle general administrative tasks

Required profile

• Commercial qualification (commercial Technikum) and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
• Sound knowledge of Polish accounting standards; IFRS/IAS knowledge is an advantage
• Excellent spoken and written Polish and English; German is a plus
• Well organized, stress resistant, self-motivated, precise and communicative

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel spreadsheets
• Knowledge of Polish accounting standards
