EMEA Demand Planner – Consumer Business Group

About the role

As an EMEA Demand Planner within the Consumer Business Group, you will partner with a diverse set of stakeholders across Europe and globally to shape the demand plan that drives supply chain decisions. You will leverage market intelligence, statistical forecasting, and advanced planning tools to ensure accurate, actionable forecasts for finished‑goods across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Portfolio Leaders, Sales & Marketing, Supply Planners, S&OP Managers and Planning Managers.
• Participate in the S&OP process, aligning demand plans with business objectives and market intelligence.
• Collect, validate and integrate market intelligence from business teams.
• Manage demand‑planning exceptions such as out‑of‑control demand, forecast bias and unusual consumption patterns.
• Support demand planning throughout the product lifecycle, including new product introductions and end‑of‑life transitions.
• Incorporate market intelligence to improve forecast accuracy.
• Optimize statistical forecasts within the demand‑planning tool and monitor performance metrics.
• Maintain data integrity in the demand‑planning system and conduct what‑if simulations.
• Provide demand inputs to Supply and Production Planning to balance cost, cash and service levels.
• Lead and support project‑management initiatives related to demand planning.

Required profile

• Previous experience in planning, logistics or a related supply‑chain role.
• Strong knowledge of supply‑chain principles, inventory control, forecasting techniques and statistics.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and collaborate in cross‑functional, international teams.

Required skills

• Experience with demand and DRP planning tools (e.g., Kinaxis cloud‑based solutions).
• Familiarity with SAP/APO.
• Statistical forecasting and performance‑metric analysis.
