Database Administrator

About the role

The role is part of a specialized DBA team that supports trading‑related applications. You will be responsible for maintaining high‑availability SQL Server environments, optimizing performance, and ensuring data security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, including Always On Availability Groups and Transactional Replication.
• Monitor database health, system metrics, and perform tuning and optimization.
• Diagnose and resolve database‑related issues and refine SQL procedures and queries.
• Develop and deploy automation scripts, administer Change Tracking and Replication, and participate in migration initiatives.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours support.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience with SQL Server 2016/2019 administration.
• Strong knowledge of T‑SQL, query‑optimization techniques, and database performance monitoring.
• Experience with database partitioning, SSRS administration, and PowerShell scripting (including dbatools).
