Data Engineer (Snowflake)

About the role

As a Data Engineer you will join a senior engineering team building a greenfield data platform for Addepto’s AI and Big Data projects. You will design and implement end‑to‑end pipelines that ingest data from file‑based and API sources into a modern cloud data warehouse, ensuring high quality, reliability and production readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data ingestion pipelines using Python.
• Build and maintain backend components for data processing, validation and integration.
• Develop REST APIs with Python and Django.
• Implement data‑quality tests and robust error‑handling mechanisms.
• Work with cloud services, Airflow orchestration and CI/CD pipelines.
• Document technical decisions, runbooks and maintain operational documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in backend or data engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills and clean code practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake and Django REST APIs.
• Proficiency with a major cloud platform (preferably AWS) and workflow tools such as Airflow.
• Excellent communication in English (C1 level) and ability to work independently.
