Clinical Data Coordinator II

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. As a Clinical Data Coordinator II in Warsaw, you will lead clinical research tasks with a focus on quality and continuous improvement, creating and maintaining data management plans, resolving data issues and mentoring junior data coordinators.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed data management plans and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues, improving data quality throughout the study lifecycle.
• Work with clinical operations and biostatistics teams to develop and run data management strategies for each study.
• Carry out other project activities needed to meet study timelines, such as filing and archiving study documents and sending queries to investigator sites.
• Mentor junior data coordinators on data reconciliation, coding and cleaning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences or Healthcare.
• Proven experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Ability to work independently and guide others.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of the time.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Required skills

• Familiarity with data management software and systems such as Medidata or Oracle RDC.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as ICH-GCP is a plus.
• Attention to detail, excellent communication and teamwork skills.
