Business Expert – Risk Applications (German)

About the role

Join the Risk Models & Calculations cluster at Commerzbank Poland as a Business Expert focused on risk applications. You will work in a hybrid setting from Łódź, collaborating with developers and business users to maintain and enhance credit reporting and operational risk tools.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and further develop risk applications such as credit reporting systems and operational risk tools.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical specifications and tool enhancements.
• Conduct technical, business and data‑quality analyses and support problem solving from model issues to technical fixes.
• Lead meetings and workshops with stakeholders, driving agile process improvements.
• Document business requirements, guidelines and design goals, ensuring clear communication across teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Physics, IT or a related field.
• Strong willingness to troubleshoot and resolve application‑related issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in project management or leading small tasks.
• Professional experience in the financial industry, preferably in risk management.
• Very good command of English and German (minimum C1).
