Business Development Sales Manager – Automotive Suppliers

About the role

Lübke & Vogt, a German manufacturer of engineered rubber molded parts for the automotive and non-automotive industry founded in 1968, supplies technical elastomer solutions to leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers worldwide. As part of its growth in East Europe, it is looking for an experienced Business Development Sales Manager to expand its presence across the Polish automotive and non-automotive market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers and non-automotive customers throughout Poland
• Identify and pursue RFQs and sourcing opportunities, and lead commercial discussions, quotations and negotiations
• Coordinate customer requirements with teams in Germany and manage projects from RFQ through SOP
• Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows and industry events
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans for the Polish automotive market

Required profile

• At least 5 years of sales, business development, key account management or program management experience in the supplier industry
• Established network in the Polish industry and experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers
• Experience with German or European automotive suppliers and existing relationships with purchasing, engineering and program management teams at suppliers
• Fluent Polish and English, willingness to travel throughout Poland and Germany
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset able to work independently

Required skills

• Knowledge of RFQ and PPAP processes
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Experience with rubber, elastomer, plastic, sealing, fastening or related engineered components
