Associate Manager, Technical Training

About the role

The Associate Manager, Technical Training leads a team responsible for delivering role‑based technical training across manufacturing and related functions. This hybrid/on‑site position ensures training programs meet regulatory and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team that coordinates, deploys, and manages technical training programs.
• Ensure training KPIs, curricula, and records comply with QMS, GMP, ISO 13485 and other regulatory requirements.
• Execute change‑control tasks in the LMS for new or revised documents and monitor LMS data for reliability.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, HR and other functional groups to integrate training needs into curricula.
• Present training performance metrics to leadership and represent training processes during audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, HR or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in medical‑device quality, compliance, manufacturing or technical training.
• Experience managing remote team members and working with detailed, accuracy‑driven tasks.
• Fluent English (C1) and German (C1) written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of QMS, GMP and regulatory agencies (FDA, MoH, TUV).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and change‑control processes.
