Archiving Systems Engineer (f/m)

About the role

Join Bosch's Global Archiving Services Department as an Archiving Systems Engineer. You will design, implement and maintain archiving solutions that support the company's digital transformation across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server environments, Oracle and MS SQL databases, and OpenText Content Server/Archive Center.
• Set up new archiving systems and define related processes.
• Maintain existing platforms, applying patches and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot issues and act as the final internal escalation point before involving external vendors.
• Monitor infrastructure health and produce regular reports.
• Automate routine tasks and optimise system performance.
• Provide consultancy to internal IT teams and business units on archiving scenarios.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Windows Server administration.
• Hands‑on knowledge of OpenText ECM, Content Server and Archive Center.
• Proficiency with SQL, MS SQL and Oracle databases.
• Ability to script and automate using PowerShell and Automic Automation.
• Familiarity with web servers such as Tomcat and Microsoft IIS.
• Experience integrating archiving solutions with SAP.
