Customer Service Officer – French (EVO)

About the role

Join BASF's Performance Chemicals Division as a Customer Service Officer focused on French‑speaking markets. Based in Warsaw, you will act as the primary liaison for customers placing orders for fuel, lubricant, and chemical solutions, ensuring smooth processing and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full order lifecycle using SAP R/3 SD and e‑commerce tools, from receipt to cash management.
• Maintain accurate customer master data and configure SAP settings specific to each client.
• Collaborate with sales, supply chain, transport, warehousing, and finance teams to deliver seamless service.
• Handle customer complaints from initial contact through resolution.
• Identify and onboard new business opportunities, expanding the customer base.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Business, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Minimum three years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in the chemical or automotive sectors is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and French; German is a merit.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with ability to work in an international environment.

Required skills

• SAP R/3 SD (Sales & Distribution) or comparable ERP system.
• Proficiency with e‑commerce order management software.
