Customer Service Officer – Care Chemicals

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Officer to join BASF’s Care Chemicals division in Warsaw. You will act as the main point of contact for our customers, ensuring smooth order‑to‑cash processes and high satisfaction across a range of consumer and industrial chemical products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to assigned customers throughout the entire order‑to‑cash cycle.
• Monitor order fulfillment and proactively address any issues that may affect customer satisfaction.
• Manage customer complaints and deliver professional, timely responses.
• Represent customer interests within BASF by coordinating with sales, finance, logistics and transport teams locally and internationally.
• Maintain accurate documentation in SAP and ensure compliance with company and legal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales administration or business customer service.
• Strong customer orientation and ability to work in an international environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is required, additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian) are a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP, especially the SD module.
• Experience with Salesforce (advantage).
