Customer Service Officer with English

About the role

Join BASF's Performance Chemicals Division in Warsaw as a Customer Service Officer. You will be the primary contact for customers placing orders for fuel, lubricant, and chemical solutions, ensuring smooth processing and high‑quality service across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main interface for customers during order placement, using SAP R/3 SD and e‑commerce tools.
• Process orders, manage cash flow, and maintain accurate customer master data.
• Collaborate with sales, supply chain, transport, warehousing, and finance teams to deliver end‑to‑end service.
• Handle customer complaints from receipt through resolution.
• Identify and onboard new business opportunities and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Business, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Minimum three years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in the chemical or automotive industry is a plus.
• Strong customer orientation and ability to work in an international environment.
• Near‑native proficiency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• SAP R/3 SD (Sales & Distribution) or comparable ERP system.
• Proficiency with e‑commerce order management software.
• Ability to create and maintain customer master data in SAP.
