About the role
Alcon is seeking a Complaint Handling Specialist fluent in French to join its Quality & Regulatory Affairs team. The role focuses on processing complaint records for Alcon devices and OTC products across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with global and local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, enter, process, document, report, and follow up on technical product complaints and adverse event reports.
- Transcribe, translate, and accurately enter data from source documents and phone calls into safety systems.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of company policies, procedures, and regulatory directives.
- Participate in complaint quality investigations and manage cases effectively.
- Communicate with key stakeholders in country organizations and review complaint data from various sources.
- Triage calls related to quality technical complaints, adverse events, refunds, replacements, and product recalls.
- Facilitate the return of product samples for analysis and inform management of safety issues or emerging trends.
- Prepare and submit response letters to customers and regulatory bodies.
Required profile
- Fluent in French (written and spoken).
- Experience handling complaints for medical devices or pharmaceutical products.
- Strong understanding of local and international regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work with safety and CRM systems and follow SOPs.
