Senior Java Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a Swedish client’s project that automates business processes and product configuration calculations. The role focuses on developing and enhancing a core CPQ (Configure‑Price‑Quote) platform, working remotely within an international, agile team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the core CPQ software for an international software company, building scalable solutions that become part of the standard product offering.
• Implement feature requirements to improve functionality, usability, and performance of the core platform.
• Work on an innovative Java‑based framework, contributing to its evolution when desired.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and product management across diverse seniority levels.
• Participate in agile sprints, adapting to iterative development and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java expertise and confidence building scalable backend systems.
• Ability to work across the stack, with JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge considered a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Fluent English communication skills.
