About the role
The Senior System Engineer/DevOps will design, build and optimise scalable, multi‑tenant infrastructure for the SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator platform. You will act as a bridge between software development and core infrastructure, delivering reliable, secure and cost‑effective cloud solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain a multi‑tenant Kubernetes platform using reusable Helm templates to enable developer self‑service.
- Own pipeline reliability, cost and speed by embedding automated release gates, secret management and software composition analysis.
- Build custom tooling to extend platform capabilities and standardise shared environments.
- Maintain distributed tracing, logging and metrics systems, guiding teams on instrumentation and SLIs/SLOs/SLAs.
- Consult development teams on system architecture, resource optimisation and modern traffic routing patterns.
- Configure L4/L7 traffic layers, including load balancers, Ingress, API gateways and service meshes.
Required profile
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering supporting high‑load distributed systems.
- Strong grasp of multi‑cloud, multi‑region architectures and cloud cost optimisation.
- Production‑grade Kubernetes administration with advanced scheduling, network isolation and complex Helm templating.
- Deep Linux administration, cross‑stack troubleshooting and ability to gather requirements independently.
