Senior Fullstack Developer (Java & JavaScript)

About the role

Directio is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join a Swedish client’s project that automates business processes and streamlines product configuration calculations during negotiations. You will work on a core CPQ (Configure‑Price‑Quote) platform built with Java and JavaScript, contributing to both backend and frontend components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the core CPQ software, delivering scalable solutions for the company’s product suite.
• Implement new features that improve functionality, usability and performance based on evolving business needs.
• Work with an innovative Java‑based framework, actively shaping its evolution.
• Collaborate with an international team of architects, developers and product managers, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Participate in agile sprints, continuously refining the product through iterative development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java (version 17 or higher) and JavaScript.
• Proven ability to translate functional specifications into clean, maintainable code.
• Experience designing and documenting software solutions.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent English communication skills for effective collaboration in a multicultural environment.
