Junior Inventory Analyst

About the role

As a Junior Inventory Analyst you will define optimal inventory levels for finished goods, semi‑finished goods and raw & pack materials. You will work closely with planners and cross‑functional teams to balance inventories, lead times, capacity and cost decisions, ensuring efficient supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define inventory strategy together with planners and Category DSP managers.
• Establish and share optimal inventory levels for FG, semi‑finished goods and raw & pack materials.
• Identify opportunities to reduce holding costs through optimized storage, transportation and order quantities.
• Segment the portfolio and manage high‑value items rigorously.
• Provide regular reports and analysis on inventory trends, risks and opportunities.
• Ensure inventory data quality compliance.
• Collaborate with planners to balance inventories, lead times, capacity and cost decisions.
• Develop and implement inventory risk‑management strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Economics.
• 2+ years of experience in supply planning and inventory management in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply‑chain planning and trade‑offs between service level and cost.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of supply‑chain functional areas, especially demand and supply planning.
• Very good analytical skills and initiative.

Required skills

• Data management / business intelligence tools.
• Data analysis and modelling.
• OMP (optimization software) – a plus.
