Intellectual Property Paralegal – Global IP Operations

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Intellectual Property Paralegal to support its US‑based IP team from Warsaw. You will manage IP‑related operations, filings and deadlines in a global environment, ensuring compliance with worldwide IP regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage deadlines, filings and documentation in line with global IP requirements.
• Support IP prosecution by tracking applications, filing directly with USPTO and WIPO, and handling correspondence.
• Review and proofread IP documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with US attorneys and international stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
• 3+ years experience as an IP Paralegal or 5+ years in a high‑accuracy, deadline‑driven role.
• Demonstrated experience with USPTO and WIPO filings (highly desirable).
• Strong attention to detail, independent work style and advanced English proficiency.
