Experienced Team Leader – German (Managed Services Operations)

About the role

PwC Poland’s Financial Crime Unit is seeking an experienced Team Leader fluent in German to oversee a group of 10‑15 AML analysts. You will act as the Operations Manager’s deputy, monitor daily workload, ensure targets are met and handle escalations affecting the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of AML analysts, managing performance and workload.
• Monitor target achievement, flag potential breaches and escalate operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Drive recruitment, development and retention of analysts and team leads.
• Share best practices with other team leaders and foster a high‑performing culture.
• Participate in key projects within the Operations Stream.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience managing a team.
• At least three years of operational experience in a relevant environment.
• Fluent in German and English for effective international communication.
• Proven knowledge of performance‑management tools and motivation techniques.
• Excellent communication, planning, time‑management and organisational skills.
