Technical Sales Engineer

About the role

ETAP is looking for a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to support the sales and business development of its advanced electrical power system analysis software portfolio (ETAP, SEE, CANECO). The role combines deep technical knowledge of power systems with strong customer‑facing abilities to help clients select and implement the best solutions for their engineering challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to expand ETAP’s footprint in the CEE region.
• Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for solution concepts.
• Deliver professional presentations and software demonstrations to customers and prospects.
• Explain the technical and business benefits of proposed solutions.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, webinars, conferences, and industry events.
• Assist customers during software evaluation and selection processes.
• Support the development of new markets and customer segments.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Solid knowledge of electrical power systems and power system analysis.
• Experience with ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or similar engineering software (highly desirable).
• Understanding of electrical network modelling and simulation.
