Technical Product Lead - AI Stockbroking App

About the role

KIRA is building an AI stockbroking superapp for Southeast Asia covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth and trading; the products move real money and must be reliable, compliant and trusted. The Technical Product Lead owns a product vertical end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap through technical design, delivery and launch. The role is remote and open to candidates worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, metrics, roadmap, priorities and delivery.
• Shape technical design with engineering across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security and scalability.
• Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements and user experience.
• Build regulatory requirements into the product, including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy and licensing.
• Apply AI where it improves outcomes, with evaluation, safeguards, human oversight and failure handling.
• Ship products around external dependencies such as regulatory approvals, financial rails and third-party partners.
• Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury and Finance around product decisions and launch requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience, owning complex technical products from strategy through production.
• Experience working closely with engineers and reviewing, challenging and contributing to technical designs.
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading or another regulated, high-consequence domain.
• Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory and operational constraints.
• Comfortable working in a distributed, fast-moving international team and communicating in strong English.

Required skills

• Strong technical foundation: system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes and distributed systems.
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation and reliability.
• Nice to have: engineering or highly technical product background, zero-to-one fintech or consumer products, and ML/LLM evaluation frameworks.
