Stress Engineer - Dynamic Components

About the role

Join the Dynamic Components Stress analysis team to develop robust stress solutions for rotorcraft. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of dynamic components, from conceptual design through certification, production, and fleet support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed static stress, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses on systems such as helicopter transmissions and rotors.
• Prepare airworthiness justification documents and ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., CS‑27, CS‑29).
• Support full‑scale and component testing, validating simulations against test results.
• Optimize mechanical solutions for new product development and improve internal methodologies, including automation with Python.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in static stress analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, and knowledge of certification processes.
• High attention to detail, strong collaboration skills and a commitment to safety and innovation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with FEA tools such as Simcenter, HyperWorks, Samcef, Nastran/Patran.
• Python programming for automation of calculation routines.
