Solution Architect – Financial Crime Compliance Platform

About the role

PwC Polska is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the technical direction of a strategic platform that supports financial crime compliance processes. You will work within a cross‑functional technology team, collaborating with senior stakeholders, agile developers, testers and DevOps engineers to deliver innovative, cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design new functionalities for an evolving internal and external platform.
• Own and evolve the target architecture, including cloud‑native and SaaS transformation road‑maps.
• Prepare architecture decision records, solution design documents and technical specifications.
• Define and verify non‑functional requirements such as scalability, performance, availability and observability.
• Design for multi‑tenancy, data isolation and regulatory compliance from the outset.
• Set and enforce technical standards, patterns and reference implementations across development teams.
• Act as technical design authority, reviewing designs and key implementations.
• Evaluate and select cloud services, third‑party integrations and assess cost impact.
• Support business stakeholders in validating clear, feasible requirements aligned with product objectives.
• Design APIs and integration contracts for internal and client‑facing services.
• Run proofs of concept and technical spikes to de‑risk major changes.
• Manage technical debt and drive modernization of legacy components.
• Provide insight on development trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in senior IT roles.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Deep knowledge of the .NET stack at an architectural level.
• Strong, practical experience with public cloud PaaS, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience designing distributed, scalable systems for financial‑crime compliance.
