Software Engineer – SnowCommand (Internal Production Gateway)

About the role

At Snowflake we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. In this role you will help redefine how work gets done by building SnowCommand, our internal production gateway for safe, governed operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine workflows that are critical to Snowflake’s business.
• Design metrics and experiments to validate your insights.
• Implement projects across the stack, including Typescript services hosted in Snowflake and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and other cross‑functional teams.
• Deliver features that require close coordination with several partner teams.
• Participate in defining product vision and team planning.
• Pinpoint problems, instrument components as needed, and implement solutions.

Required profile

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
• 2+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
• 2+ years maintaining a production system.
• Interest in state‑of‑the‑art LLM‑based solutions.
• Experience with modern application design, good API patterns, performance and scale.
• Experience with Typescript, React, Node, Express.
• Experience with software engineering best practices: unit testing, code reviews, design documentation.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, especially in a cloud environment.
• Great verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with diverse peers.
• Genuine enjoyment of building great products.
