Senior Software Engineer – Product Security

About the role

Snowflake is looking for a senior software engineer to build a world‑class security experience for its engineers. You will help deliver next‑generation tools that enable secure development of Snowflake’s flagship data cloud product.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security infrastructure and tooling that is elastic, large‑scale, high‑performance and simple.
• Develop backend services and tools that improve developer productivity and product security.
• Partner with product managers to define quarterly and long‑term roadmaps for the Product Security team.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends, including AI security and security for AI‑driven systems.

Required profile

• 6+ years of industry experience building tools and backend services, preferably in the security space.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, distributed systems).
• Fluency in at least one language such as Rust, Python, Golang, Java, C++ or .NET.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills in English.
