Senior Manager, ERP Master Data – Supply Chain

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead ERP Master Data initiatives across its global supply chain. The role focuses on governing product master data, ensuring data quality, and supporting key business projects in a fast‑moving life‑science environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global Product MDG strategy, overseeing daily operations and projects for all franchises and regions.
• Develop and maintain governance, maintenance processes and tools to drive long‑term data compliance and quality.
• Implement Master Data Governance guidelines and monitor KPIs across the supply spectrum.
• Create and maintain SOPs for Material Master data, ensuring global adherence.
• Collaborate with Business Process Owners and project managers to continuously improve end‑to‑end processes.
• Build and lead a high‑performing team, providing clear responsibilities and accountability.
• Deliver training for Local Data Stewards on processes, governance and system enhancements.
• Act as the liaison between ERP systems and business users, managing change for master data attributes.
• Support acquisitions, product launches, supply chain restructurings, and ensure regulatory compliance (AFCM, GxP, TUV).

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Minimum 7 years of business or IT experience in manufacturing and supply chain, preferably in life sciences.
• Proven track record of defining and implementing global SAP business processes for product master data.
• Strong continuous‑improvement mindset and ability to influence across functions globally.
