Senior Accountant – Group Accounting (Warsaw or Espoo)

About the role

ICEYE is expanding its finance organization and seeks a Senior Accountant to join the Group Accounting team. Based in Warsaw or Espoo, you will support monthly group closing, consolidation, and subsidiary oversight, ensuring accurate financial reporting across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day general ledger and controlling activities, including journal entries, accruals, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support the monthly group closing and consolidation process, guaranteeing completeness and consistency of group and subsidiary financial data.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with subsidiaries to ensure compliance with group accounting policies.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualification or degree.
• Several years of experience in corporate accounting, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of month‑end closing, consolidation, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with general ledger systems.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards and consolidation principles.
