Research Manager - Managing Consultant

About the role

Mastercard’s Advisors Research Center (ARC) is expanding its European team and seeks a Research Manager – Managing Consultant to lead high‑impact research projects from Warsaw. The role combines quantitative and qualitative research expertise with stakeholder management to turn data into actionable insights for the financial services, digital technology, and payments sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end research projects across multiple sectors, focusing on financial services, digital technology, and payments.
• Design and execute quantitative studies, including survey design, data collection, and statistical analysis.
• Conduct qualitative research such as in‑depth interviews, focus groups, and online forums.
• Manage and mentor a team of researchers, ensuring high‑quality delivery and professional development.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define research objectives aligned with business needs.
• Synthesize complex data into clear presentations and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of research outputs in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience in primary research (quantitative and qualitative).
• At least 2 years of experience leading research teams.
• Background in a research agency or consulting environment.
• Experience in banking, payments, financial services, or digital technology is highly desirable.
• Native‑level fluency in Polish and English; additional European languages are a plus.
