Remote CATT Tester – Calypso Back Office

About the role

Luxoft is looking for a CATT Tester to join its team supporting an international bank. The role is fully remote and based in Poland, and focuses on creating, running and maintaining automated test cases with CATT (Calypso Automated Testing Tool) for Calypso Back Office modules such as settlements, confirmations, accounting and SWIFT messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and execute automated test cases in CATT for Calypso Back Office modules
• Run regression test suites during Calypso upgrades, patches and change deployments
• Analyse test results, identify failures and report defects with clear reproduction steps
• Work with Calypso BO analysts to turn functional requirements into test scenarios
• Maintain the CATT test library so tests stay aligned with the current BO configuration
• Take part in SIT and UAT cycles and document test plans, test cases, execution reports and defect summaries
• Support test data preparation (trade creation, reference data, SDI configuration) and help review CATT results
• Escalate complex test failures and track their resolution

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, IT, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Basic understanding of capital markets products (bonds, FX, interest rate swaps) and trade lifecycle concepts
• Basic understanding of Back Office processes: settlements, confirmations, accounting entries, SWIFT messaging
• Ability to write and read basic SQL queries for test data verification
• Good written and spoken English and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn Calypso and CATT on the job; prior Calypso exposure is a plus

Required skills

• Familiarity with software testing concepts: test cases, test plans, regression testing, defect lifecycle
• Experience with CATT or another automated testing tool (Selenium, UFT or similar)
• Nice to have: SWIFT message types, Calypso BO workflow, test management tools (Jira, TestRail, HP ALM), Python or shell scripting, Agile/Scrum, ISTQB Foundation Level
