Project Coordinator – Publishing Projects

About the role

The Project Coordinator supports the CPMO team at Springer Nature’s Macmillan Education brand, ensuring publishing projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Working in a hybrid model from Warsaw, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, project managers, and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project‑level support to cross‑functional teams, assisting with task coordination and deadline management.
• Prepare standard and ad‑hoc reports for project teams and managers.
• Maintain and update the master dashboard and project spaces ahead of key meetings.
• Manage bibliographic data, applying bulk updates and ensuring data accuracy.
• Distribute metadata reports to external partners.
• Map cost codes to project plans and generate spend forecasts.
• Coordinate project documentation, keeping records current and complete.
• Assist in creating status reports and stakeholder presentations.
• Administer budget changes, upload data to SAP, and resolve mapping issues.
• Handle reprint corrections and implement customer‑driven changes.
• Conduct compliance checks on project deliverables.

Required profile

• Experience supporting publishing or similar project environments.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
