Project Coordinator – Drone & Geospatial Technologies

About the role

The Global Centre of Excellence in Drone and Geospatial Technologies is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end delivery of drone‑based and GIS projects. You will act as the main liaison between clients, subcontractors, drone pilots, data providers and internal technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily execution of drone and geospatial projects from planning through delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, pilots, data providers and technical teams.
• Plan and schedule drone missions, handling logistics, permits and resource allocation.
• Monitor timelines, milestones and quality standards, ensuring on‑time delivery.
• Support risk assessment and compliance with aviation regulations and safety procedures.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports and client‑facing presentations.
• Facilitate communication between clients and technical teams (drone pilots, GIS, photogrammetry).
• Conduct market research on emerging unmanned‑system and geospatial technologies.
• Assist in designing and improving internal project‑management workflows and tools.

Required profile

• Passion for drone technologies, GIS, photogrammetry and earth‑observation platforms.
• Strong coordination, organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Degree in Project Management, Geodesy, Cartography, Geoinformatics, Aviation/Unmanned Systems, Geography or related field.
• 3+ years of experience coordinating projects, preferably in the drone/UAV, photogrammetry or geospatial sector.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level) and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to learn quickly both project‑management practices and technical/consulting knowledge.
