Platform Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & CI/CD

About the role

Sensor Tower is seeking a Platform Engineer to enhance its digital intelligence platform’s infrastructure, developer tooling, and delivery workflows. The role blends infrastructure work with software development, focusing on cloud services, automation, observability, and internal tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Build tools and workflows that improve developer experience and productivity.
• Maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
• Enhance reliability and performance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify and resolve slow builds, failed pipelines, and flaky tests.
• Develop internal tools, improve test infrastructure, and occasionally contribute to product features.
• Increase observability across infrastructure and delivery pipelines with OpenTelemetry and ELK.
• Leverage AI to create cloud‑based agent tools and promote effective engineering practices.

Required profile

• Experience designing and maintaining complex CI/CD workflows.
• Software development background (internal tools, APIs, backend services, or automation).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS or another cloud provider.
• Telemetry and monitoring expertise (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Kibana).
• Strong computer science and system design fundamentals.
• Willingness to learn and use Ruby and/or Go.
