Planning & Performance Management Specialist

About the role

The Planning & Performance Management Specialist supports Group and Local reporting by executing planning and performance management activities that align with Zurich’s business objectives. The role offers exposure to local, regional and global projects, requiring a proactive, flexible attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and support monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings using SAP and other tools, including billing and cost‑center booking.
• Collect, consolidate and forecast expense actuals and plan data.
• Maintain master data in SAP (cost centers, accounts, statistical key figures) and ensure data quality.
• Allocate costs to services, products/projects and customers.
• Prepare regular expense reports and respond to cost‑center manager queries.
• Identify financial issues, support counter‑measure definition and track results.
• Lead project modules or task forces related to planning and performance management.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of finance or controlling experience, preferably in FP&A, management accounting or cost controlling.
• Academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Controlling or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP (cost‑center, account maintenance).
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools.
