Midweight Android Developer (Remote, Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Lush Global Digital is looking for a Midweight Android Developer to join its UK‑based digital team. You will design, build and maintain Android applications that serve a global cosmetics retailer and spa network, working fully remotely from Poland on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mission‑critical Android applications with a worldwide user base.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including UI/UX designers and other developers, to deliver end‑to‑end products.
• Apply Test‑Driven Development (TDD) practices and write unit tests.
• Fix bugs, modernise legacy code and adopt the latest Android technologies.
• Document code, processes and share knowledge through mentoring and documentation.
• Support deployment, post‑deployment monitoring and open‑source documentation of reusable components.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience developing Android applications.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work in an agile, remote environment.
• Commitment to ethical, purpose‑led business values.
• Willingness to mentor junior developers and share expertise.
