Mid/Senior Business Analyst (German)

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑level to Senior Business Analyst who is fluent in German to join Wavestone Poland’s consulting team. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT, translating regulatory and operational requirements into technical solutions and supporting AI‑driven enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and regulatory requirements, assess impact on IT systems and define necessary adjustments.
• Gather and align business and technical requirements through workshops, interviews and stakeholder meetings.
• Create functional specifications, business concepts and user stories to support project execution.
• Translate business needs into IT designs, configurations and process workflows.
• Integrate AI‑driven solutions to optimise requirement analysis, decision‑making and system configuration.
• Provide guidance during IT implementations to ensure technical and business objectives are met.
• Prepare, execute and document user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Perform gap analyses and address discrepancies to meet client needs and quality standards.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Graduated with top grades in Business Administration, Business Informatics/IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Project Manager or similar role in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.
• High willingness to learn, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Methodologies: BPMN, UML, Agile, Scrum.
• Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
• Project management tools: MS Project, JIRA/Atlassian, Azure DevOps.
