Lead Engineer – Rotating Equipment

About the role

Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions in Poland is looking for a Lead Engineer specialized in rotating equipment to join the Kraków team. You will own the delivery of rotating packages, ensuring compliance with contractual, quality, schedule and cost requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project execution, including technical inquiries, bid analysis, orders and vendor document reviews.
• Collaborate with instrumentation, civil and piping disciplines during execution.
• Conduct technical inspections at manufacturers' workshops.
• Supervise installation and commissioning on site.
• Prepare and support offers for rotating equipment packages.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with focus on rotating equipment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role at a machine manufacturer, engineering office or chemical/petrochemical plant.
• Fluent in Polish and English.
• Proven experience leading projects involving complex rotating equipment.
• Willingness to travel and work abroad when required.

Required skills

• Pump, steam turbine, reciprocating and turbo‑compressor design.
• Knowledge of API 610, API 617, API 618, API 619, ISO 5199, ASME pressure vessel codes, PED and Machinery Regulation.
• Project execution of rotating equipment.
• Technical inspection and vendor document review.
