Lead Engineer, Civil & Structural

About the role

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction is seeking a Lead Engineer, Civil & Structural to join its Kraków team, supporting industrial and energy projects. The role reports to the Head of Civil & Structural and involves leading both internal and external engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of in‑house civil and structural engineers and coordinate 3rd‑party external engineers.
• Ensure engineering documents and material supplies meet contract requirements.
• Provide realistic forecasts for man‑hours, quantities, costs, milestones and freezing dates.
• Manage consumption, costs, milestones and handle deviations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of civil and structural engineering experience in an industrial environment.
• Hands‑on drafting and design experience, including calculations and drawings for foundations, buildings and structural steel.
• Very good written and spoken English and full eligibility to work in Poland.
• Commercial awareness, contract awareness and cost consciousness.

Required skills

• AutoCAD
• Autodesk Robot (or similar structural analysis software)
• Tekla
• Aveva or Smart Plant
• Basic knowledge of geotechnical aspects and soil reports
